GENERATION X

Generation X

Generation X, often referred to as the “in-between generation,” is the demographic cohort following the baby boomers and preceding millennials. Born between the mid-1960s and the early 1980s, Generation X encompasses individuals who came of age during a period of significant cultural and technological shifts. They are known for being self-sufficient, resourceful, and adaptive, having witnessed the emergence of personal computers and the internet, as well as the fall of conventional industries. Generation X is also known as the “latchkey generation” due to their experience of being often left unsupervised at home after school.
